Photographs Set In Silver
Sometimes we no longer have available to us things like fingerprints or hand and foot prints with which we can have pieces created for us that keep our loved ones close to us.
These are the times are when we need to do something different. It is now possible for you to have a piece made for you with your loved one’s photograph embedded in the silver

Here is an example of the process. A photograph is provided of a woman and the photo is worked to give it strong light and dark tones, until it is appropriate to have a stamp made of it.
The photo is then put through a process where it is able to be made into a customised high quality reverse stamp, allowing a crisp, concise and superior image to be created.
The image is then stamped into the specific, desired, silver design. It is fired, then patina’d to make it go black, and cleaned up to create a unique photographic image.
In above finished example, the photo has been used to create a silver cirlce to go on the back of a glass pendant that has the woman’s ashes embeded in the glass. (Please see Ashes in glass page for more on this)
Below, a little girl’s image has been used to create a number of different pieces for her family in a number of different ways. Each image has a unique feeling to it which makes the pieces very precious.
